Plants, Produce & Flowers
Sara and Bob have been growing diverse varieties of nutrient dense produce, herbs, and flowers for over 30 years on three acres of their beautiful hilltop land. With over 4,500 square feet of green house for seedlings, early and late season crops, Sandiwood Farm reliably produces extended season greens and other crops. If you are in the area, feel free to stop by for produce, plants, flowers, maple syrup or our CBD products. Deliveries can also be arranged.
We are proud to provide healthy organic produce to our community and have been grateful for the overwhelming support of our CSA we started in May 2020. Now more than ever people want to know where their food comes from and be a part of local food security.
We plan to start with greens and other spring produce in mid-May 2021. For $250 you’ll receive more than a $25 value of produce a week for 10 weeks. You can pause service anytime, keep your credit and resume when ready. You can add additional credit to continue. We plan to offer produce until mid-November, 28 weeks!
When you sign up, you’ll receive Sara’s weekly email with what will be included each week as well as extra items you can choose to add-on. Additional items include flower bouquets, mushrooms, fruits, eggs, maple syrup, Asian greens, Jasper Hill Farm Cheese and more. We collaborate with other neighboring farm, Pete’s Greens, Wild Branch Valley Farm, Riverside Farm, Jasper Hill Farm to offer a full array of veggies, fruits and seasonal favorites for canning and storage. Special requests for other veggies can usually be accomodated.
